A wonderful life

This summer I am living a wonderful life ~ through the lens of my son as he spends a semester abroad.

I have been able to visually

spend a day at Wimbledon without waiting in the queue ~

stay in a lovely chateau located in Biarritz, France ~

share delectable meals, wine and cheese with "the young" and "the less young" during two hour long dinners ~

eat lunch at an outdoor cafe in London ~

visit The Globe Theatre for a little Shakespearian History ~

walk around the city taking in all the lovely sites ~

and, at the end of the day, take the tube home without putting any wear and tear on my purse or my shoes.

  1. Your sons must be having an amazing time! I'm jealous! I have visited The Globe Theatre but not during a Shakespearian performance. Some day I would love to visit again and catch a play there so I feel like I'm in the 1500s!!!

  2. I think you are not the only one who is jealous - he is marking off quite a bit from everyone's bucket list! His group is going to The Globe this week to see a performance. I can't wait to hear about that experience.
