Karen Allen
Just a little ole girl from Texas
with an amazing eye for color and detail.
The image Karen chose to recreate was a gorgeous
garden scene from Disney Land. During her first painting
session she gave depth and color to the background bushes
and shrubbery through various values of green paint.
Her steady hand worked magic on the color
and texture within the floral landscape.
Karen's painting technique captured the various hues of sunlight, shadow and tiny detail of the grass, flowers, shrubbery and rock border.
A few added touches of highlight to the flowers,
a hand painted signature,
and a beautiful frame help capture the
essence of her incredible talent.
